The New Year always seems to inspire wellness & fitness, but of course people are very busy and they tend to fall off the bandwagon. I’ve been working out religiously for about a year and a half now but in the past couple months I decided to increase my level of commitment by starting the P90X program. Let me tell you, I absolutely love it and hate it at the same time. Love the results I’m seeing but hate the daily butt kick of a workout. The meal plan however I struggle with because it is so easy to fall back in old habits, like grabbing the quick (not so good) breakfast item that we give to our kids in the morning as we get them ready for school.
Recently, I got the opportunity to try free Cascadian Farm products from General Mills through Platefull Co-Op. When my package arrived, I couldn’t wait to try the Cascadian Farm organic fruit and nut Granola cereal in the morning before my daily workout and Cascadian Farm chewy chocolate chip granola bars for my between meal snack. Yep, I had it all worked out. The cereal was quite tasty and most importantly you didn’t feel hungry after one bowl; plus it gave me the energy to tackle my day. Now, the Cascadian Farm chewy chocolate chip granola bar was my favorite. It was a so good that I had to look at the wrapper again to make sure I didn’t accidentally pick up my kids chocolate chewy granola bar (another brand). I almost felt guilty for eating it….it was that good.
If you are looking for a brand you can trust to incorporate your healthy lifestyle, I would recommend Cascadian Farms. And as an added plus, right now you can print a $0.75 off any Cascadian Farm product coupon. Hey, you may as well save money while continuing to be healthy. LOL
